I just finished this cover for an underground French band called Jim Rose Expedition. The theme was "Expedition," but I’ve decided to call it Desired Constellation.
This piece was inspired by my personal feelings about chagrin d'amour (heartbreak). It tells the story of a woman living in a wild, dark paradise, and a knight who discovers the key to her heart.
However, she is cursed by a wicked witch (doubt), causing all potential suitors to be transformed into birds. From that moment on, like birds, they are destined to fly away, their hearts tethered only to the wind, never to return.

Jim Rose Expedition
After self-producing their debut EP in January 2008, which quickly became a favorite on Fnac and Myspace, Jim Rose Expedition returns with L’Orée du Temps, a new EP recorded in some of Paris's top studios and released in mid-February.
