"Berlin What? BOOK

I am thrilled to have my drawings featured in the book "Berlin
What? _ 102 Contemporary artists," produced by

Neonchocolate Gallery.

Many thanks to Uwe Neu and Oliver Thoben, the curators of the gallery in Berlin, for including my work in this fantastic compilation. The book offers a personal snapshot of artists that they feel represent the Berlin art scene, showcasing the work of both established and up-and-coming contemporary artists based in Berlin.
It's worth noting that "Berlin What? _ 102 Contemporary artist" has received high praise from various publications, including INTERVIEW and Vogue magazine Germany.

Meyoko for Volume Magazine UK & WME Entertainment

Following my publication in Volume Magazine UK in 2009, I was contacted by a representative from WME Entertainment Agency to create an album cover inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy.

To be honest, it felt a bit strange at first. I didn’t quite feel a strong connection to the project, but I pushed forward, giving my best to bring the concept to life.

Ars longa, vita brevis ... Life is short

WME (William Morris Endeavor) is one of the world’s leading talent agencies, known for representing some of the biggest names in entertainment, sports, and culture. Over the years, they have worked with a diverse range of artists, from Hollywood icons like Leonardo DiCaprio and Emma Stone, to musicians such as Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran.

Illustrative x Swatch

I’ve just been invited to the illustrators' night, and I’ll be sharing some images from the event. It was quite an interesting evening, filled with artists, music, and plenty of other exciting things.

Illustrative is a leading contemporary illustration art festival, held every two years in Berlin. Founded in 2006 by gallerists Pascal Johanssen and Katja Kleiss, it has played a key role in highlighting the importance of illustrators in the visual arts today.

In addition to showcasing works from renowned illustrators, Illustrative consistently introduces fresh, curated exhibitions that feature new graphic and illustration artists at the forefront of the visual arts. Its reputation for presenting high-quality work has made it a key event where the worlds of illustration and fine art converge.

Behind Illustrative stands the non-profit organization Illustrative e.V. in Berlin, led by a team with extensive experience in the art world and related fields. Founders Pascal Johanssen and Katja Kleiss also run Berlin's permanent Design Hub, "Direktorenhaus," a platform for designers, artists, and collectors.

One of the festival's key highlights is the Swatch Young Illustrators Award, which offers emerging artists the opportunity to showcase their work at the prestigious Illustrative event. In addition, winners can receive prizes valued at €6,000, the chance to design a Swatch watch, or have their work published in specialized media. You have until October 22nd to submit your work if you believe your talent deserves to be recognized.

LODOWN 73 (Germany)

It's incredible to reflect on how much my life has changed in the past year. I vividly recall flipping through a copy of Lodown Magazine in Berlin, thinking my work would never grace its pages.

However, a few months ago, I stumbled upon a particular email I had previously ignored. To my surprise, it was from Lodown, expressing interest in publishing my work in their upcoming issue LODOWN 73 the same issue I had been admiring just months before.

The shock was overwhelming, and I couldn't sleep. Eventually, I mustered the courage to respond, and I had the pleasure of speaking with Sven, one of the last individuals in the world with genuine manners and kindness. Thank you, Sven!

Lodown Magazine is a pioneer in mainstream culture, renowned for its progressive and layered content that delivers key influences with a timeless quality. It's pop, colorful, cool, coded, and fast - truly representing the future. I am humbled and thrilled to have the opportunity to be featured in such a remarkable publication, and I know that Lodown readers will adore the work I have created.

Kult magazine (Singapore)

Kult magazine: the Fortune issue

I just picked up the latest issue of Kult magazine, it's beautiful as always. I have a drawing inside called Andromeda for the theme fortune even if my inspiration wasn't exactly this kind of fortune.

Founded in 2009, Kult Studio & Gallery is a dynamic creative studio that specializes in conceptualizing, curating, and executing interactive experiences that seamlessly blend art, design, and technology.

At The Studio, they provide innovative solutions tailored to meet every need—whether through events, exhibitions, social media campaigns, or gamification. Whatever the project, Kult has the expertise to make it happen in the most engaging way.

The Gallery is where their passion for connecting with artists from around the world comes to life. It’s a space dedicated to showcasing bold, inspiring exhibitions that challenge, provoke, and captivate audiences, making it a hub for cutting-edge creativity.

Does Fortune mean Chance or Wealth? Are they connected? We ask you. In an attempt to analyse what Fortune means in different customs and cultures, we have invited 40 international artists to portray their vision of Fortune.

The world is full of wealth and poverty, all with their common pursuit of wealth. Be it in the ostentatious sense or in a spiritual sense, we all believe fortune can be good and bad. From superstitions and horoscopes to gambling on the stock exchange, fortune touches our lives everyday, whether we are in control or not. When there is good luck, there must surely be bad luck. Some don’t believe in luck or chance, but they can’t deny fortune.
