COW International Design Festival (Ukraine)

I’m super excited to share the next event I’ll be part of! The COW Festival in Ukraine invited me to participate, and they even asked to use my drawing Hunter for their official banner and posters to promote the festival.

COW Festival is a global forum that celebrates world-class design, featuring everything from illustration and book design to graphic design, product design, fashion, and industrial design. With over 300 works on display and participants from 17 countries, it’s an incredible gathering of creative talent.

The festival takes place in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine, and draws designers, students, and the public from across Europe, Asia, Australia, and America.

It’s such an amazing opportunity to be part of a space where different design disciplines come together to inspire and connect.

So, why a cow as the symbol for a design festival? Well, cows have played a key role in human history, providing sustenance and health. In ancient times, they were even a measure of wealth. In Norse mythology, the world itself began with a cow created from melting frost, and in India, cows symbolize abundance and good fortune. It's a unique and fitting symbol for a festival that celebrates creativity and growth!

The artists involved include Gizem Vural,Vadim Gannenko , Lydia Lys Selimalhigazi , Kristina Sabaite ... and many more.

The official opening will be:
Exhibition time: 18-31 May, from 12:00 to 18:00.
PLACE: Kvartira Art Center
[Krasnaya Ploshchad str. 3-1, Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine].
Awards will be held May 23 at 15:30...
